Why to Choose Chain Link Fence

Nov 22, 2022

Fencing comes in a variety of materials, including vinyl and wood. Chain link fencing is one of the most well-known types of fencing. Chain link fences have various advantages over other types of fencing since they are simple to build and suited for both commercial and residential uses. Here are four examples.

Affordability

Chain link fences are typically the least expensive option. The component materials are reasonably priced, and assembly is straightforward. If you want a robust fence with decent visibility but don't want to pay a high price, chain link may be the best option.

Durability

Chain link fences are made of galvanized steel and are impervious to pests and decay. Chain link does not collect dirt or debris and does not require painting or staining. There is little you need to do to maintain a chain link fence other from cleaning off leaves and cobwebs every now and again. This makes chain link a particularly good alternative for business applications and homeowners who don't want to add to their maintenance list.

Security

Chain link fencing that has been properly installed is difficult to penetrate. A chain link fence, also known as a hurricane fence or cyclone fence, is made of interlocking galvanized steel wires bent vertically, joined in a diamond pattern, and attached to steel poles embedded in the ground. The open weave allows for visibility, but it is difficult to break through. As a result, chain link fences are frequently used in high-security areas such as prisons, military bases, and industrial zones.

Variety

Chain link fences come in a variety of styles. The thickness and design of the galvanized steel wires can be customized, with thicker wires giving more security and longevity. Typical chain link fences range in height from 3 to 12 feet, however a larger fence can be built if necessary. You can select your preferred form of gate, such as a swing gate, a walk through gate, or even an automatic sliding gate. You can even select color-coated metal instead of the standard steel color.
