The guardrail net is everywhere in our lives, and some processing of the guardrail network also improves the quality of the fence network. The galvanized process is widely used in the guardrail network industry. This process is also divided into two ways: hot -dip galvanized and cold -dip galvanized. What are the differences between these two galvanized processes? Matter!
What is hot -dip galvanized?
Hot -dip galvanized is also known as hot -dip galvanized. It melted zinc ingot at high temperature, put some auxiliary materials, and then immersed the metal structure into a galvanized groove, so that a layer of galvanized layer is attached to the metal component attached to the metal component The advantage of hot -dip galvanizing is that its anti -corrosion capacity is strong, and the adhesion capacity and hardness of galvanized layers are high. The disadvantage is that the price is relatively high, and a large amount of equipment and venue need to be invested. If the steel structure is too large, it is not easy to put it in a galvanized slot. In addition, the steel structure is relatively thin, and it is easy to deform. The zinc -rich coatings often refer to the imitation rot coating containing zinc powder.
What is cold galvanized?
Cold galvanized is actually electro -galvanized. The cold galvanized process is used to protect metals and prevent corrosion. To this end, the coatings that use zinc fillers are used to apply it on the surface of the protected object after using any method of coating. The layer has a zinc with a content of 90%. Suitable for repairing (that is, during the repair work, only the protected steel surface damage can be re -applied as long as the surface can be repaired). Cold galvanized processes are used for anti-corrosion of various fence net products and structures. This process method is very small, only 10-50g/㎡, and its own corrosion resistance is much different than hot-dip galvanized. So the price of electroplating is relatively cheaper.
The guardrail network manufacturer said that thermal galvanizing is soaked in the heated and melted zinc liquid, and the galvanized pipe is to gradually block the metal appearance by using the current single item in the electroplating groove. The hot -dip galvanized process has fast production speed, thick -galvanized layer, and consumes more zinc metals. Ordinary galvanized speed is slow and thin. Cold galvanized refers to the zinc galvanized zinc in the melting zinc in thermal galvanizing.
The difference between the guardrail network believes that the difference between the two is that the former has poor corrosion resistance and the latter has good corrosion resistance. The hot -dip galvanized can be maintained in an outdoor environment for more than ten years. The steel structure with small components is used in this process.
